Over the past many years, I have been an instructor in the fitness industry, teaching active older adults a range of programs including Tai Chi, Qi Gong, gentle aerobic fitness as well as Silver Sneakers and Silver and Fit. I was also a Faculty Trainer for the YMCA USA teaching instructors how to teach Moving for Better Balance using Tai Chi programs. I have also studied with a Qi Gong Master in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Recently I attended trainings to become a certified instructor at Club Pilates with a goal of working with active older adults in semi private sessions in Reformer based Pilates. I received my Certified Practitioner status in May of 2019. I also received my Eden Method Teacher Training status in December of 2020.
